USGP has an opportunity for a MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST to provide services to our military service members, their families, and veterans at CAMP LEJEUNE, NC.

· Schedule: Monday – Friday 0700-1900 (40 hours per week)

Qualifications:

· Degree/Education: Certificate. Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

· Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Basic Life Support through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

· Experience: One year of full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist within the last 3 years.

· Licensure/Registration: Possess current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Mammography Technologist (M-AART).

Job Duties:

To include but not limited to:

· Provide and assist with physical breast inspection and palpitation.

· Provide patient education, including breast self-examination techniques.

· Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedures, assuring information is documented in accordance with department standards.

· Evaluate mammograms or other breast images for technical quality, assuring that proper identification is recorded
