Qualifications: Education:

Certifications:
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Continuing medical education (CME) of at least 12 hours within the past 12 months, from ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer within the last 4 years
  • OR -
  • recent graduate (within 1 year) of a CAAHEP-accredited echocardiography program
  • Must have hands-on experience with:
  • 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, Color Flow, Bubble Study, and contrast media
Licensure/Registration (one of the following):
  • Current certification with ARRT (SARRT or post-primary in Sonography)
  • ARDMS certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • CCI certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform noninvasive vascular diagnostic procedures (e.g., carotid, venous/arterial duplex, renal artery, SMA, portal hepatic duplex)
  • Operate diagnostic equipment including duplex imagers, PVR, treadmill, Doppler, and PPG
  • Educate patients with peripheral vascular disease to support better outcomes
  • Support scheduling and triage efforts for vascular patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Analyze and communicate findings clearly to healthcare providers
  • Maintain diagnostic equipment and manage lab supply inventory
  • Utilize computerized data systems for scheduling, record keeping, and quality assurance
  • Provide training to healthcare staff, students, and physicians on diagnostic procedures and care standards

What You’ll Do: Your role will be essential to the billing and collections process within the Military Treatment Facility. Duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Educate patients and staff on billing procedures and required forms,
  • Manage Medical Service Accounts and Affirmative Claims in accordance with DHA and UBO guidelines
  • Identify and verify insurance coverage through internal systems and direct communication with insurers
  • Input and update insurance information in CHCS, AHLTA, MHS GENESIS, TPOCS, and other government systems
  • Review medical records for billing accuracy and clarification
  • Prepare and submit claims to third-party payers (UB-04, CMS-1500, or electronic forms)
  • Follow up on claims to ensure timely payment and case resolution
  • Coordinate with the Admissions and Dispositions Office for authorizations and pre-certifications

Minimum Qualifications: Education:

Job Summary: 

The Human Resource Manager will assist the HR Director with the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.   

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.  
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department alongside HR Director. 
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.   
  • Assists with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.  

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. 
  • Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Forwards all information to HR Director for review and complex decisions.  
  • Assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance alongside HR Director. 
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Assists with government reporting, AAP and any other large compliance items. 
  • Reviews practices and procedures with HR Director to ensure and promote streamlined processes and operating procedures.  
  • Assist with internal audits; FMLA, I9s, employee files, etc.
